Opportunities lead to Success

It is of utmost importance that in the process of achieving a particular goal, you grasp the small opportunities that come your way. In my process of learning, I accepted each and every opportunity be it big or small. In May 2017 I got a huge opportunity to organise a workshop of Artist Chandra Raval, who is also my Sir. I grasped this opportunity to learn all I can from him. It was a Mural and Sculpture based workshop.

It wasn't an easy task to accomplish, but I used all my organisational skills and made it work with lots of help. It was a successful workshop of 15 days where almost 35 students joined us. I was the organiser of the entire workshop and managed each and every small detail. It is the first workshop I organised, it wasn't easy to handle the requirements of 35 people but their support and encouragement helped me achieve my task at hand. Also, I used my knowledge in the field of Murals and Sculptures and helped all the students present. Painting being my strength I shared my knowledge with multiple artists there, and also learnt a lot from them. Teaching is all about to give and take, as much as they learnt from me they also taught me in abundance.

It is one of my most treasured experiences, as I interacted with people of all age groups right from a 14-year-old kid to a 53-year-old person. We completed over 38 art pieces in 15 days and it was a huge success. I can suggest everyone out there grasp each opportunity that comes in your way and not consider it big or small, as each new obstacle will help you learn something that one would never expect.

Friends don't overthink about the next opportunity that comes in your way, just grasp it and give it your best. Every single opportunity is a stepping stone towards success...!!!
